I have compiled a list of 10 apps that have been extremely beneficial for me during my travels! YOU MUST HAVE THEM!
SKYSCANNER- My go to app for finding the cheapest flights around the world is Skyscanner. I love the calendar and chart feature that show you which days out of the month to fly to receive the cheapest ticket! I once found a one-way ticket to Madrid from Atlanta for $193!

TRIPIT- For those of you like me who just cannot get your organizing together, this app is for you! TRIPIT is a lifesaver because it puts all your traveling logistics in one spot. It is the absolute worst when your at the airport trying to find an email with a flight booking code to check in, or searching for your hotel information to share with family and friends. SQUARE CASH- Let's be real, we all have 357 thoughts going through our minds during the day and remembering to pay back that $4 dollars your friend let you borrow is not at the top of the list. While traveling, it's common to run out of local currency but that's when your awesome friends have your back. To maintain peace and avoid that awkward conversation, download this app. You can pay your friends back via debit or credit card right on the spot.
THINGS TO DO
VIATOR - Viator is an app that helps you search for attractions and tours that are budget-friendly. During my trip to Dubai, I was able to find the exact same Desert Safari with the same company for $15 dollars less than the original price!
WHATSAPP- This app is becoming more widespread and people are using it world-wide as a means of communication. While traveling, especially solo, I like to keep my family and friends in the loop regarding my whereabouts. The only downside to this app is that everyone you communicate with must download the app to communicate with you. I recommend friends and family download the app before your departure!
VSCO - While traveling, we take tons of photos of our surroundings. VSCO is photo editing app to use when Instagram filters just aren't making the cut.

ONE STOP SHOP
TRIP ADVISOR - This app is one of my all time favorites because it allows me to find cheap flights, review hotels, and see what there is to do around me. Trip Advisor is a one stop shop for those people who want to get everything done in one place!
Just because you are here, I thought I would share with you the app that causes me the most enjoyment while I'm traveling. Every traveler wants to bring something back from their trips, my go to souvenir is music. My favorite app is Shazam!
Whenever I'm traveling, I love to jot down the names of songs that I hear just about anywhere. With Shazam, I can identify the names of songs I love and save them for later. When I leave, I can always have a piece of my last destination when I get home just by pressing play.
Check out my latest song obsession from my South Africa trip!
